Loading an Image

You can use an image stored on your computer after you upload it to the Image Library
or an image that is stored on another website.

To add an image to your email:

Option 1:  Your image is stored on your computer or in the Image Library

1. Within the editing tool, click Edit on the block where you would like to add the image.
2. Place your cursor where you would like the image to appear.
3. In the toolbar, click the image icon insert image
Note: If you've already uploaded the image to the library, skip to step 9.
4. Click “Upload a New Image” in the pop-up box.
5. In the Upload an Image box, click Browse.
6. Locate the image file on your computer and click Open.
7. Type a descriptive phrase in the Description field and, if applicable, select the folder
where you want to save the image.
8. Click Upload Image.
9. Highlight the image file in the image library.  
10. To set the image alignment, select a position in the Float dropdown menu.
11. To make this image a clickable link, enter the URL in the text box provided.
12. Click Insert Image.  The image appears in your email.

Option 2:  Your image is stored online

1. Locate the image on the website and copy its image URL (right click and click
properties, the URL address should be listed).
2. Within the Email Wizard, click Edit for the block where you would like to add the
image.
3. Place your cursor where you want the image to appear.
4. In the toolbar, click the Image icon .
5. In the window that displays, click the gray Enter Image URL tab.
6. Type or paste the URL into the Image URL text box.
7. In the Description field, enter the text that will display in email clients that disable, or
do not display, the image.
8. To position the image in the text box, select a position in the Float dropdown menu.
9. To make the image a clickable link, enter the URL in the text box provided.
10  Click Insert Image. The image appears in your email.

Notes:

* Before sending an email with images to your contacts, it is a good practice to both
preview and test send your email to make sure the images are displaying correctly.
* You cannot paste images into Constant Contact. Always upload them into your
account first or reference their online URL in the New Wizard Image URL tab.
